Do you want to look elegant for the holidays?

Elegance is beautiful and fashionable at the same time. It has always been my favorite style. It gives confidence, sophistication, and present.

I have noticed designers have focused a lot this season on using the same print or color for the full look, and it looks pretty amazing. Head to toe painted in one color, it can be dramatic, but it can also be utterly elegant.

In my choice here, I have chosen different colors and prints that are combined to form a look, and I believe they look great. It looks like it is time for a monochromatic trend. Try it out today, mix the same colors together even if they don’t match so much in tone and see how you feel.

Here are my selection from this seasons fall winter 2014/2015 runway shows, with designers like Chanel, Esacda, Fendi, Jason Wu, Jil Sander, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Stella MacCartney, Valentino and many more. All photographs belong to www.style.com

Fashion Reflex: Cozy and cuddle just like a cocoon

Winter is beautiful, for it brings forth the essence of staying in, of holding indoor cozy dinners and gatherings. Winter brings you closer to family; it brings out the feeling of romance and dance. I personally love the sound of rain, thunder and wind, and I love watching the lightning and the snow.

The one thing I don’t enjoy about winter is feeling cold, and therefore I am used to layer myself up with fabrics. I wear 2 or 3 pairs of pants sometimes 2 pair of socks and at least 4 pairs of upper wear. It might sound a little crazy but really, this is the only way I feel warm and enjoy my winter season. What has become more fun about layering is that designers are making layers look obvious and trendy. Below are my favorite layering looks from the fall winter 2014/2015 collections by designers like Paul smith, Tory Burch, Viktor & Rolf, Edun, Max Mara, and many more.

Fashion Reflex: It is the comfort season.

Every once in a while, we deserve to throw our selves into a pile of comfort, meditative state of body and mind. Surrounding ourselves with comfort, softness, happy colors, and lots and lots of warmth.

I am not a big fan of fur coats to be honest, but they just feel incredible, they keep me warm, they make me feel romantic, and rolled with love. Fur coats not only feel good, but they look best with evening gowns! I find it very difficult to fit a suitable coat over any gown when wearing to a wedding or any formal event. But I do love fur scarfs and fury blankets, and I mostly like to feel warm all the time in winter.

When shopping for fur, shop it right, and shop it before the very cold winter, find the color the suits you, and find the design that fits you. Here I have selected my favorite fur items from the fall winter 2014/2015 collections from designers like: Alexander McQueen, Chloe, Fendi, Gucci, J. Mendel, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Sonia Rykiel and many more.

Fashion Reflex: Getting back to your classic self.

It always starts somewhere, in what ever it is; there is always the classic, without the classics we have no base to return too. Everything starts with an idea, an idea that is first implemented, then liked, and then we add our own additions to it.

In fashion, we always have the classic block, the classic cut, the classic pattern; we take it and improvise on it.

From time to time, it is nice to get back to your very basic essence of yourself. Touch base with the real deep self; observe your changes, your sensation, and your soul. Even your basic self, your classic self is different in its own way, so bring it out, show who you truly are in in the minimal way possible, show your classic self, be who you truly are.

Classic cuts, can vary from one person to another, there is one basic for each one of us, here are some of my favorite classics for this winter showing pictures from www.style.com Fall Winter 2014/2015 from designers like Comme des Garcons, Dolce& Gabbana, Hermes, Jil Stauart, Karen Walker, and Pringles of Scotland.

Have you ever been to thee desert of Wadi-Rum ?

Fashion Reflex: Fabric matching is a form of art.

Fabrics are super beautiful, and mixing the right fabrics together will only create an art piece. It is like creating your own textile; trying different types or colors together, creating a new painting, and expressing. We are all different because we all like different things and we lead a different life, different aspiration, interest and different personalities.

The best part about standing out is going for what you long for, and not what everyone else has on. You are who you are because you are different, and that is what makes you beautiful. Cherish your differences, and everyone else will cherish the artist you have in you.

Below you will find outfits that are made from different fabrics mixed together. All pictures belong to www.style.com and include designs by Phillip Lim, Diane Von Furstenberg, Leonard, Missoni, Miu Miu, Narciso Rodriguez, Nicole Miller, Valentino, and many more.
