How Changing One Thing In Our Routine, Can Lighten Us Up.

Yesterday I posted on my instagram asking people what they do first thing in the morning.

The answers I got were mostly the usual things of opening our eyes, looking at our phones, heading for a shower. One different answer was, doing 3 yoga poses in bed which I thought must be a really good thing to try and do (if you are interested in yoga).

I sometimes feel it is always good to give our routine a change, an upbeat, something a little more ordinary to add on something new to our day, to our minds, and our attitude to life.

Some ideas I can throw in here are; watering your plants, doing a little prayer, kissing your loved awake or still asleep, meditating, or writing your morning pages.

Writing Morning Pages was my answer on my instagram in response to my question. It has been introduced to me a few years ago first, through a leadership camping training in Switzerland and second, in my writing group club in Amman. The former was used as a method to reflect and write at any time of the day on an empty page without thinking, just writing, letting all our feelings go into writing. And the later was taken from the book ‘The Artist Way’ and is done first thing in the morning, every day, religiously. It is a method to clear our minds and set our attitude positively to our day by using positive affirmations, positive thoughts, and goals.

Nothing is necessary for writing our Morning Pages, nothing is right or wrong, and no one needs to read them. They can be private or can be torn apart if it makes you feel more comfortable, but the idea is to write everything down every morning, first thing in the morning. Let it all out on empty pages. It is a great new start of the day.

They helped me make new self-realization, reflection, understand feelings, hidden thoughts, aspirations, dreams, neglect, it is just a very great way to understand oneself better, put what is unimportant aside on the pages, and put what we wish to attain from self-motivation on paper to remind us of our basic goals and dreams. Be gentle to my self, today, be gentle to everyone I encounter, smile, be graceful, walk with grace, speak with grace, listen with grace, give, with no expectations, no judgments, live, freely, loudly, happily, share, your dreams, and your love, be generous to yourself and to others… and this is how it goes.

Dream World is right here where you are, if you only look at it without looking at the future. The Quote “if you change your mind you can change your world” is true, not only true but accurate. If you feel unhappy then it is time to reflect, time for space, time for observing our pattern of thoughts. What is leading to unsatisfied feelings? Pattern of thoughts that need to be rearranged, looked at from different angles. Trust the power within to transform your own life.

How to keep going when having a bad day…

It is Okay – Remember where ever you are, what ever it is, it is going to be okay. We sometimes need to stumble upon a stone and trip to remember how we are, who we are & how we act when things are difficult. No matter what, how long or how difficult it is, always remember that it is going to end up being okay. Just breath, and believe & try to be aware of your senses. Keep calm, keep going & keep a hopeful thought, miracles do happen.

Treat your worries like the addicts treat nicotine when they decide to quit, worry less every day until you are worry free.

We attract what we expect and what we over expect we attract the very opposite. We carry our worries around not knowing that they only cause pain and absolutely nothing more. How to walk without them is just uneasy but the truth is we were born without them and we have only piled them up as we walked our feet throughout our lives. Our basic nature is without worrying but our habit have become to worry and make everyone else worry with us. It’s time to let go, walk with your body without any backpacks without any pain or looking back without any expectations or fixed plans… Just worry free, with your body as light as it is and you will feel lighter without them. Our future is not running away from us and what is bound to happen good or bad will eventually happen. Create your list of what you wish to do but give it freedom, plan your meet ups but also give it freedom, carry your baby for 9 months and give it freedom to be who it is… Give your mind the freedom this life offer, for we were born into life free of everything except for our parents who were a given and what they include in our lives and then what everyone else includes and then what we include… And remember they are all additions. Treat your worries like the addicts treat nicotine when they decide to quit, worry less every day until your worry free. Now lets enjoy this magical life… ❤️

How to listen to your heart

There is no one better than your own judgement upon yourself. The people surrounding you are your distraction to your self listening. Don’t let that possess you. How you feel is the answer to everything you encounter at anytime. Learn to listen to your feelings, learn the difference between your emotions, and learn to act upon them in the very right way. Some will make your hearts feel warmer, some will make your hearts feel colder, listen carefully and listen well, your hearts will lead you to where you belong. Once you understand your own callings, you will understand how to trust your intuition to follow your heart. Be familiar with your inner self, let your faith lead you to what makes you feel happier within. Have a very happy Wednesday.

The moments between the big events in my life

Today I decided to enjoy the moments between the big moments. Every once in a while you need to stand up and look at your achievements and give your self the credit you deserve. Celebrate a little, you deserve to cherish yourself and treat yourself with the self-awareness you ought to have. Life is not a big splash of major events to happen everyday in your life. Without the logging between the events you will never experience growth. So grasp this moment because you have it and it deserves your awareness and love for without it, how will you get to your next big thing ? Love your being, love the moment when you are still wondering if this is your true purpose or is there something yet bigger, and yes if you want something bigger or better or simpler or different then be hopeful for your being hasn’t stopped growing. As long as your being is still thirsty to fulfill its curiosity then you still have space to grow even more. Trust this life for it has already given you gifts and showed you its miracles, trust that with your constant positive thoughts and striving you will still experience more. Meanwhile, praise and be kind to yourself for you are still alive.
