Because writing on the wall can be some kind of an affirmation… and if we write our affirmations large enough to believe that they are no longer just affirmations but a standard, then our new standard will raise the bar for us… and suddenly we find our self between A and B… and who knows what B has to offer, but it sure does offer differently than what A had to offer. And maybe if we were comfortable enough in A, why do we leave it? But this is exactly where we find our differences. Human beings are born different. Am different from my own sister and my brother, how can I not be different from you? And wanting to be like you will never be the way to try and be who I can be. And I can be great. Greater than me wanting to be like you. Greater than me wanting to stay in A. And ‘me’ greater than the great ‘me’ I would ever imagine. And the secret here is…. letting the process lead you to transform to great, and being open to what yet comes after great… the transformation is our most difficult challenge. But if we learn to have this under control as well, then we must know that we have succeeded in making our selves feel happy in any state we are put in. Content. Accepting. Open. Transformative. And Trusting the Unknown. 💛 Be you, completely who you are, the strange you, the fun you, the high you and the low. Be all of you, it is what makes you who you are. And it is what will make you great.

What Are We Afraid Of ?
Do we struggle to find the things we want? And why do we, when we have experienced receiving when we have least expected? Why do we position ourselves in the struggling mode when we can just let go when things don’t want to click? Why do we not learn that if it is bound to happen eventually it will… but we linger, once or twice or three times. Unsatisfied but what do we know then about satisfaction?
Life is perfect as it is today and tomorrow if we just accept ourselves in the now and we work as hard as we can (without struggling) for tomorrow. And not (a better tomorrow) for how do we know what is better anyway?
How Changing One Thing In Our Routine, Can Lighten Us Up.
Yesterday I posted on my instagram asking people what they do first thing in the morning.
The answers I got were mostly the usual things of opening our eyes, looking at our phones, heading for a shower. One different answer was, doing 3 yoga poses in bed which I thought must be a really good thing to try and do (if you are interested in yoga).
I sometimes feel it is always good to give our routine a change, an upbeat, something a little more ordinary to add on something new to our day, to our minds, and our attitude to life.
Some ideas I can throw in here are; watering your plants, doing a little prayer, kissing your loved awake or still asleep, meditating, or writing your morning pages.
Writing Morning Pages was my answer on my instagram in response to my question. It has been introduced to me a few years ago first, through a leadership camping training in Switzerland and second, in my writing group club in Amman. The former was used as a method to reflect and write at any time of the day on an empty page without thinking, just writing, letting all our feelings go into writing. And the later was taken from the book ‘The Artist Way’ and is done first thing in the morning, every day, religiously. It is a method to clear our minds and set our attitude positively to our day by using positive affirmations, positive thoughts, and goals.
Nothing is necessary for writing our Morning Pages, nothing is right or wrong, and no one needs to read them. They can be private or can be torn apart if it makes you feel more comfortable, but the idea is to write everything down every morning, first thing in the morning. Let it all out on empty pages. It is a great new start of the day.
They helped me make new self-realization, reflection, understand feelings, hidden thoughts, aspirations, dreams, neglect, it is just a very great way to understand oneself better, put what is unimportant aside on the pages, and put what we wish to attain from self-motivation on paper to remind us of our basic goals and dreams. Be gentle to my self, today, be gentle to everyone I encounter, smile, be graceful, walk with grace, speak with grace, listen with grace, give, with no expectations, no judgments, live, freely, loudly, happily, share, your dreams, and your love, be generous to yourself and to others… and this is how it goes.
I hope this blog post helps us live more positive. If you do have your own tip to share for a morning ritual, please comment and share.
Keep Going…
There is enough in this world for everyone. Just don’t give up, don’t waste your time on dwelling, don’t be afraid to have missed something, don’t be envious or jealous, those are all moments of time being wasted, and more negatives will be drawn upon you. Just keep going, keep aiming, don’t let fear drag you down, choose to be joyful, and keep the faith in what is out there, that belongs to you. And even then, remember, we are not here to stay. Nothing at the end really belongs to anyone.
Tell your story, and I’ll tell mine.
We create the stories we want to tell about our own lives. Who we loved, who we lived with, what we failed to achieve, our success stories, our friends, people who left foot prints, people who we choose to cut loose from our lives, people who we inspired, people who inspired us… We choose pieces from our lives to stick up upon the wall or just over the ground or maybe in our backyard or in the trash… We choose what to remember, what to be affected by, what to speak of and share and what to completely disregard as it ever happening. But what ever happened in our past is what made us who we are today… So step up & be proud. Learn that without those pieces in your life you would not be where you are today, learn that better things are coming your way, learn that those around can benefit from your experience, learn that by giving you will only be rewarded. So live life with true honest and love. Cherish the good moments & the hard. Let this world come into you like a little baby entering the arms of a loving mother. Not knowing what to expect but certain to be protected & given the best there is that she can offer to give.
Put your attention to what you find is pure & beautiful…
Nature is beautiful. Love is beautiful. Smiles are beautiful. Happiness is beautiful. Earth is beautiful. Life is beautiful. Time is beautiful. Friendship is beautiful. Lovers are beautiful. Loving is beautiful. Giving is beautiful. Wisdom is beautiful. Freedom is beautiful. Creativity is beautiful. Connecting is beautiful. Relaxing is beautiful. Sharing is beautiful. We have so many beautiful things going on in this world. Take part in what is beautiful, in what you find is beautiful & remember that you are also beautiful.
Have a beautiful morning, a beautiful day & a beautiful evening.
If you change your mind you can change your world…
Dream World is right here where you are, if you only look at it without looking at the future. The Quote “if you change your mind you can change your world” is true, not only true but accurate. If you feel unhappy then it is time to reflect, time for space, time for observing our pattern of thoughts. What is leading to unsatisfied feelings? Pattern of thoughts that need to be rearranged, looked at from different angles. Trust the power within to transform your own life.
What about Mystery ?
Mystery lies in one hundred & one places. On Earth & outside of earth. In our conscious & outside of our conscious. We search for the meaning of happiness for eternal happiness not aware that it resides inside of us & not outside. Image is what we attach ourselves to & what we search for, image is what we create & what we form. Search must be made inside & not outside. Have a blessed Tuesday.
Morning Motivation: From the book The Artist’s Way
“In filling the well, think magic. Think delight. Think fun. Do not think duty. Do not do what you should do- spiritual sit-ups like reading a dull but recommended critical text. Do what intrigues you, explore what interests you; think mystery, not mastery.
Some sounds lull us. Some stimulate us. Ten minutes of listening to a great piece of music can be a very effective meditation. Five minutes of barefoot dancing to drum music can send our artist into its play-fray-day refreshed.” From the book The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron.
I will be taking you with me on my journey with the book to explore creativity, for those of you who wish to explore their creative side, join me every morning for little exercises recommended by Julia Cameron. You can always buy the book from Amazon.

How to keep going when having a bad day…
It is Okay – Remember where ever you are, what ever it is, it is going to be okay. We sometimes need to stumble upon a stone and trip to remember how we are, who we are & how we act when things are difficult. No matter what, how long or how difficult it is, always remember that it is going to end up being okay. Just breath, and believe & try to be aware of your senses. Keep calm, keep going & keep a hopeful thought, miracles do happen.
